Nykaa India Weekly Keyword Rank & Competitor Visibility Dataset
A weekly keyword file built for competitor term tracking — what comes back when a shopper searches a rival's brand name on Nykaa. Thirty-three columns covering rank, organic versus sponsored placement, brand visibility, price, ratings and availability.
The supplied sample follows six competitor terms and returns 11 different brands, with 4 of 50 placements sponsored. Searching a rival's name and seeing who else turns up is the cheapest competitive research available.
The file already exists, because this pipeline runs every week whether you buy it or not. Most vendors start collecting after you order — which is why they quote a lead time. Here the most recent file is in your account within minutes of payment, with an API key issued at the same time.
What you get, in plain terms
Four things. Take this file if you are mapping competitor terms rather than defending your own.
Rank on the keyword, not just the product
One row per keyword, per position. search_rank tells you where a product actually appeared to a shopper typing that term.
Built around competitor terms
Keyword Type marked 49 of 50 rows in the supplied sample as Competitor. Eleven distinct brands appeared across six such searches.
Organic separated from sponsored
type marks each placement Organic or Inorganic. In the supplied sample 4 of 50 were paid — competitor terms on Nykaa are lightly contested.
However you want it

Fields included in this dataset
All 33 columns, in the exact order they appear in the file — taken straight from the sample, not from a brochure. The free sample ships with a data dictionary giving an example value for each one.
Sample rows from the real file
Real rows from the sample file, not an illustration. The free sample is 50 keyword rows with all 33 columns.
Coverage
Captured weekly across the keywords on your feed. The supplied sample follows six competitor beauty terms.
| Metric | In the supplied sample | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Keywords tracked | 6 | All but one marked Competitor |
| Distinct brands seen | 11 | How crowded a rival's own term really is |
| Sponsored placements | 4 of 50 | Competitor terms here are lightly bought |
| Out of stock at capture | 3 of 50 | Even top-ranked results are not always buyable |
Six keywords is what the sample shows, not what the feed is limited to. Keyword count is what drives the price — most clients run a few hundred competitor and category terms.
Historical data
The last 30 days come with the dataset. Beyond that we hold Nykaa keyword records from February 2025 onwards for the keywords on this feed — enough to show how sponsored share moved through a festive quarter.

We can extend this dataset beyond the standard 33 columns — share of voice calculated per keyword is the most requested addition, along with banner placements, competitor brand mapping and a wider keyword set.

What people use this dataset for
Brand and media teams
See who appears on your terms, whether they earned the slot or paid for it, and how that changes.
Retail media buyers
Measure what your spend actually bought — sponsored position by keyword, not a platform-reported summary.
Category and SEO teams
Track organic rank on the terms where visibility can still be won without paying for it.
Analysts
Build a share-of-search series across brand, competitor and generic keyword types.
About Nykaa competitor search data
Nykaa is India's largest specialist beauty platform. Because discovery runs through search, the terms shoppers type — including competitors' names — decide a great deal of what actually sells.
Why competitor terms are worth tracking first
A shopper typing a rival's brand name has already decided what kind of product they want but not which one. That makes competitor terms the cheapest conquest traffic available. In the supplied sample six such terms returned eleven different brands between them, with only four paid placements across all fifty rows.
A lightly contested page is an opportunity
Four sponsored placements in fifty is low. On the quick-commerce platforms the same exercise routinely returns a third or more of the page as paid. That gap is the argument for spending here: the same position currently costs less because fewer people are bidding for it.
Availability still matters on a search dataset
Three of the fifty rows were out of stock at capture. A top-ranked result nobody can buy is a wasted position — yours or a rival's — and it is worth filtering for before you draw conclusions about who is winning the page.
Is collecting this data legal?
Collecting publicly visible product and price information is generally lawful in most jurisdictions. Actowiz collects only public pages, respects robots.txt and platform terms, holds no personal data, and aligns with GDPR and CCPA. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified, and this dataset carries documented provenance so your legal team can review the source before you buy.
